ABOUT MRS. FARMER
I grew up in Half Moon Bay, California, and went to Half Moon Bay High School.
I went to college at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. I majored in Chemistry and recieved my B.A. in Chemistry. It was an amazing experience, it was absolutly beautiful, I got to live on campus, and I had my own research lab as a sophmore!

I then went to the University of Oregon to get my M.S. in Chemistry. I loved it there! They had an amazing Chemistry Department!
After getting my Masters in Chemistry, there was eight months of time between when I graduated my Masters program and when my Teaching program started. So I went to the Professional Culinary Institute (now called the International Culinary Center). It was so much fun! I was so grateful to get a period of time in my life to pursue something just because I loved it, and not for a job!
I am now teaching high school Chemistry at Dougherty Valley High School, in San Ramon California. Depending on the year I teach some combo of College Prep Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, or AP Chemistry.
When I am not teaching I enjoy cooking, camping, quilting, gardening, watching movies, and spending time with my husband (Mr. Farmer), our daughter and son, our two crazy kitties (Harley and Zoe) and our Australian Shepherd dog (Penny).
